Both canvas's are signed by the author - dated 1994. The items comes from a larger collection from the Robert Borrell collection, who was an avid collector of WWII and Korean War items, including Night Fighter materials (parts, uniforms, insignia, etc.) Note the patch is made post 1994. The insignia appears to be painted with acrylic, oil based paint or even marker (coloring is thin, but difficult to tell exactly what the medium was). It is painted on a 8x10 hard canvas and it has some light wear & blemishing throughout. The artwork may be signed by the artist on the back. It appears to have been created in 1994, which is why we are listing this item in the WWII Reproduction category, despite being an original piece of art.
