For 2024, we’ve made some very cool design improvements to the WW2 C Ration reproduction we have been producing for nearly three years! And we’ve been able to lower the overall price with FREE SHIPPING! At Hero Rations, we’ve been producing FULLY EDIBLE WWII Army Rations, made exactly like original rations, using originals as templates and following Department of Defense specifications, recipes and materials! We are your source if you are a WWII reenactor, living historian or you or someone who are gifting for is into WWII history! The 2024 C Ration B Unit is a massive overhaul of our previous reusable can design, using lithograph techniques on rolling block printing directly to the metal can. The cans themselves retain the reusable lid design (simply pop open with the edge of a p38 can opener or another item and reuse again and again). The can also has the reverse die date stamping raised on the lid. The best improvement over our previous design and competitors, is the new can was designed to be 0.75 pints and roughly 3” across and 3 ½” tall, mirroring the dimensions of the WWII C Ration cans! The inside retains the same quality authentically reproduced contents! We offer this early war design, mid war design and late war OD designed C Rations along with the appropriate contents as the war progressed and the C ration went through numerous changes. These early war cans were made in 1942 through early 1943 and utilized throughout the war. THIS INCLUDES - Historically accurate B-Unit can containing five historically accurately made biscuits, glassine or paper disc separator, three correct tabbed Domino sugar cubes, Barrington Hall tin with soluble coffee product and five cane sugar hard candies. These contents have been thoroughly researched to create an authentic experience. The biscuits are made using the 1942 dated specifications document from the Department of Defense and are made using milled flours, sucrose, organic milk powder, invert sugar, soda, sea salt and pork lard. The correct sized sugar cubes are imported from Holland. The coffee tins are specially made here in our shop. The Domino boxes and cube wrappers are professionally printed, not made on a computer printer.
